Received item ok from seller on time. However, when using the item, I noticed that it is high on the bottom that it does not pick up the balls. Balls when picked up from a level surface, remain on the bottom wire of the basket and do not enter inside. Tried various balls and they all remain.

Do not recommend it. Well made, but not sure why they don't pick up the balls.

I am a coach - and I know what I am doing. However, I would not recommend this at all Rating: 2 / 5

This is a high quality ball hopper that will last you forever. It is made of a heavier gauge metal than many, has protective and anti-slip covers on the bottom & handles, and is very sturdy. It also features locking mechanisms for the handles, lid & legs. So, when you stand it up, you lock the legs in place & won’t have it wobbling or legs sliding down like with other hoppers. You may pinch a finger though as the lid is tight (this may loosen up over time?). It works well to pick up balls as well. My only complaint is the weight. It is HEAVY. Too heavy for the kids to comfortably use, and a bit of an arm workout for me.

I ordered this for my father’s Christmas present. It came promptly, but the box was damaged, so much so that there were holes on two sides and the box was bent. Upon inspection the product itself was damaged as well. I called customer support and, though they were friendly and there was no hassle when talking to them, the only thing they could offer me was a reimbursement and return shipping. There was no system available for sending me a replacement- I would just have to purchase ANOTHER value pack.

I won’t be getting reimbursed for the product until they get it back, and because of my financial situation I can’t afford to buy a second value pack- I will have to wait for the reimbursement until I can “buy” the product again. Considering the condition it was in the first time, I won’t be waiting around counting the days until Christmas for my money back just to worry whether or not the second will come on time and in one piece. I’ll be getting my father something else.

If it weren’t for the design of the lid, I would give this product 5-stars. However, the way the lid is designed, it hits the ground when you use the bucket — as designed — to pick up balls. Since it hits the ground, it is forced out of its ‘hinges’ and comes off. Sooooo, everytime you gather all 110 tennis balls, you have to wedge the lid hinges back on the basket. What a PITA.

I am a USPTA teaching pro, I teach privately outdoors in the summer months.This is a great easy to use hopper it holds a nice number of balls without being too cumbersome or heavy. The price point is great and it fits easily in the back of an SUV.Recommended.

The ball hopper is sturdy and is exactly what it looks to be in the picture. The one thing I didn’t figure on is how heavy it would be, especially once filled with tennis balls. I can hardly lift it! But on the court, practicing serves, it’s great to have so many tennis balls in such a large hopper within reach.

This works great to pick up lots of tennis balls quickly. The one I received had handles that were slightly bent out of line and I had to gently push them into 90 degree angles in order for them to align.

It doubles as a stand for the balls, but the two small pins don't hold the basket in place very well when it is on the stand. This would be a problem if that was one of the features I used.

Executive Summary - great for picking up balls, not too good for a ball stand. Rating: 4 / 5

The Rollerhopper 150 is probably the best ballhopper out there, with clever design and functionality, however some of the mechanisms do not work as smooth as a regular user would expect them:

1. The pins that hold the basket in place in the standing position are not strong enough, so the basket tends to go lose constantly.

2. The plastic leg holders are not designed well, as you need to apply a lot of pressure to lock and un-lock them, making them very hard for a kid to use or even adults.

I will contact them to order longer pins for the basket holder.

Overall good value but these little imperfections might cause some people to get frustrated and not enjoy it. Rating: 3 / 5
